📋 Description

• Develop and lead large, complex capital programs across ASR operations, including safety, Process Safety Management (PSM), infrastructure, process improvements, capacity expansion, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency projects • Plan, execute, and finalize complex programs from initiation to closure • Develop program investment strategies, including scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria, with stakeholders • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, safety, operations, and contract labor • Prepare and manage program budgets, forecasts, and cost controls • Secure and allocate resources to meet project timelines and objectives • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations • Liaise with project teams, executive leadership, and external stakeholders • Report program progress, challenges, and financial performance to senior leadership • Provide technical oversight for process design, equipment selection, and construction activities • Develop and maintain design standards consistent with industry best practices • Review peer engineering designs for compliance with standards, best practices, and company policies • Drive best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational performance and reduce costs • Partner with Procurement on equipment, engineering, and construction-service partnerships • Develop and execute commissioning plans; own CQV and vertical start-up activities • Manage external resources for detailed engineering, construction management, and supplemental project support • Oversee project delivery, including scope, cost control, cash-flow forecasts, schedules, construction management, training, coordination, and post-completion reviews • Lead process safety and environmental compliance and implementation projects • Ensure Process Safety Management requirements are met

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline from an ABET Accredited institution; other technical degrees considered based on relevant process and project experience • 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing process and/or project-focused role • 15+ years of experience managing Capex projects within the manufacturing industry • Strong knowledge of project management methodology on multiple $5M+ projects • Ability to communicate and interact with multiple organizational levels and professionally represent the company with vendors and engineering partners • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, SAP, and similar project management applications • Preferred but not required: advanced engineering or project management degree; MBA; PMP certification; Focused Improvement experience; DMAIC or Six Sigma certifications; capital-discipline experience; batch and continuous-flow manufacturing experience; OSHA PSM and covered-process experience; people-management experience
