📋 Description

• Lead Paramount’s transition from a fully on-premises footprint to a hybrid environment with AWS • Partner with the VP of Technology to co-develop cloud strategy • Own cloud architecture and the migration pipeline • Architect and build secure, scalable AWS cloud landing zones • Lead workload migration strategy design and execution • Configure and maintain infrastructure for high availability, security, and performance • Migrate Hyper-V virtual machines to AWS EC2 or container services • Evaluate migration of legacy workflows to AWS cloud-first technologies • Establish Infrastructure as Code deployment standards • Design and enforce PCI-DSS Level 1 cardholder data environment segmentation • Implement encryption for data at rest and in transit across AWS and on-premises environments • Align AWS IAM and Windows Active Directory policies with PCI access-control requirements • Maintain continuous logging, monitoring, and compliance audit trails • Coordinate system maintenance and local migrations with the On-Prem Engineer • Collaborate on local hardware access for replication and migration tools • Design secure, low-latency network tunnels between local sites and AWS • Co-develop business continuity plans using Veeam and cloud-native backups • Monitor and tune hybrid environments for uptime and performance • Optimize cloud spend and resource sizing during migration • Assist with decommissioning local hardware as workloads migrate

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure, with 3+ years leading AWS cloud migrations • Proven history building or maintaining PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure • Demonstrated success leading technical projects in a team setting • Deep knowledge of AWS EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Route 53 • Experience with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and IAM policies for PCI compliance • Familiarity with AWS serverless, containers, or native analytics • Experience with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) or equivalent • Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Python/PowerShell scripting • Microsoft SQL Server administration and hosting concepts • Microsoft Hyper-V and Failover Clustering • PureStorage FlashArray and Veeam Backup & Replication • Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and Group Policy • One of: AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
