📋 Description

• Lead a central headquarters operations team responsible for global project deliverable management across a complex, multi-country fixed amount award • Set up milestone management systems, trackers, standard operating procedures, training, and capacity-building materials • Provide cross-cutting program management and operations support • Review, track, prompt, document, and submit project milestones and deliverables • Provide orientation, training, and troubleshooting support to country and HQ teams • Manage monthly deliverable-tracking meetings and communicate milestone status to project and department leadership • Collaborate with project leadership, strategic information, finance, technical leaders, country teams, and other departments • Identify, highlight, and address operational and project risks • Develop and maintain training materials and tools, including leading webinars, review meetings, and ad hoc training sessions • Coordinate management, compliance, performance standards, and milestone-management systems with the PMT and project management and operations teams • Work with senior leadership and department operations teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial and administrative processes • Serve as focal point for global milestone and deliverable troubleshooting and escalate issues as appropriate • Supervise select management and operations staff • Possibly provide program management support to select core-funded activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Business Administration, Public Health, Social Sciences or Related Field • Project Management (PM) Certification preferred • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of management experience • Demonstrated experience in USG and global health project management and implementation • Experience working on large, multi-country global projects • Experience working on large, fixed amount/priced awards or global awards with a heavy focus on managing fixed amount/priced sub-agreements is required to apply • Experience working in a non-governmental organization (NGO) • Demonstrated knowledge of fixed award/priced mechanisms, general contracting, and reporting requirements • Effective knowledge of design, implementation, and management of sector specific and/or multi-sector/international development projects/programs funded by US government or other international donors • Knowledge of donor planning and reporting systems • Knowledge of business development processes, specifically proposal development, within an international NGO context • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical in countries outside of the US • English fluency required • Personal Computer/Laptop and Microsoft applications (Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams, Power BI) • Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time • Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs • Less than 10% travel
