• Drive revenue growth, donor retention, and pipeline development by managing a portfolio of donors as a frontline fundraiser • Assist in strategic development and management of a portfolio with 500+ prospects and donors capable of making gifts of $1,000–$9,999 • Develop and implement individualized donor strategies, timely follow-up, stewardship, and tracking of actions and outcomes • Engage and cultivate new donors and steward existing donors to increase retention and giving • Conduct donor outreach via phone, video, email, correspondence, social media, and surveys • Make a minimum of 200 personal virtual contacts monthly and record contacts in the CRM system • Follow up on solicitations, research updates, and donor support to achieve average gifts of $1,500–$2,500 and secure at least 50% of annual support requests • Collaborate with Prospect Research, Development Operations, Marketing/Communications, Development teams, leadership, and staff on solicitation strategies • Partner with Community Manager and Vision Walk teams to connect supporters with local chapter and signature events • Review donor strategies quarterly and make donor referrals to build major gift and legacy program pipelines • Track donor moves and solicitations in database systems and send personalized follow-ups • Use key metrics and time management to improve retention and communications • Report to the Director, Mid-Level Giving
• Minimum of five years of experience with constituent engagement and non-profit fundraising • Experience personally soliciting individual gifts and creating and implementing gift strategies preferred • Demonstrated track record identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and closing gifts up to $10,000 • Experience in effective donor stewardship and disciplined moves management • Ability to partner successfully with staff, volunteers, donors, and event staff • Ability to qualify major gift donors or disqualify annual giving donors • Ability to work collaboratively and independently • Ability to initiate and build long-term relationships with prospective individual donor partners • Strong fundraising ethics and respect for donor confidentiality • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication abilities • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Initiative-taking, enthusiastic, and strong follow-up skills • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Ability to work a flexible week including some weekends • Ability to travel occasionally to markets around the country
