📋 Description

• Oversee a pod of Accounting Managers, bookkeepers, and a book of clients • Provide support and direction to the team • Deliver weekly and monthly financial reporting to clients through the team • Serve as an escalation point and thought partner for clients • Ensure accuracy of presented data and perform final quality control of deliverables • Oversee month-end close and key accounting activities • Review management reports, accounting packages, reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L trends • Review inventory reconciliation, write-offs, obsolescence adjustments, product costs, and inventory systems • Review accounts receivable processing and aging reports • Review accounts payable processing, aging reports, and Bill.com payments • Review payroll processing, journal entries, and accruals • Provide ad hoc reports and details • Oversee client communications • Supervise and train the team on client and administrative duties • Help develop SOPs and training documents • Manage the pod budget • Maintain clean files and document storage • Participate in assigned training • Contribute to the internal team as a thought partner

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting • 2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role • 2+ years of experience leading a team • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required • Advanced level expertise in QBO and Excel • NetSuite and Xero experience a huge advantage • Experience with e-commerce clients is required • Experience reconciling Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com, etc. required • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices • Solid understanding of financial statements and how to evaluate them • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time in a remote work environment • Proactive and team-centric attitude • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Located in the United States
