📋 Description

• Develop and execute category-specific strategies in alignment with Senior Category Program Manager guidance. • Provide in-depth product expertise and training to Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, Customer Order Specialists, and field sales teams within the assigned category. • Partner with suppliers to coordinate training, sales initiatives, and enhance product knowledge. • Manage category promotional programs, new product rollouts, and product launches. • Track and report category performance metrics and contribute to ongoing category analysis. • Support field adoption of product programs by addressing product questions and providing technical knowledge as needed (within scope). • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure cohesive execution of category objectives. • Assist the Senior Category Program Manager in managing multiple category projects and initiatives. • Travel as required to support field activities and supplier engagements (typically less than Senior Category Program Manager travel requirements).

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in category management, product management, sales operations, or related fields within automotive or industrial sectors. • Strong product knowledge of the assigned category. • Effective presentation and communication skills demonstrated through training and stakeholder engagement. • Analytical skills to monitor category performance and identify opportunities. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
