📋 Description

• Lead and support regulatory and legal compliance initiatives in a dynamic environment. • Advise on U.S. laws and regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and relevant state/local requirements. • Review and provide compliance guidance for product development, operational practices, and platform enhancements. • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations. • Conduct legal research and deliver clear, concise written analyses. • Collaborate with external counsel, vendors, and customers on compliance matters. • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to company practices and policies. • Partner with Product and Operations teams to develop and maintain compliance policies and SOPs; assist with audits and remediation. • Document compliance decisions and maintain team resources. • Support sales and customer-facing teams through calls, webinars, and RFP responses. • Perform additional compliance projects as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in U.S. legal and regulatory compliance. • Familiarity with FCRA, FTC, and CFPB regulations. • Working knowledge of employment background screening requirements. • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or equivalent legal education preferred. • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication, including virtual presentation skills. • Ability to apply independent judgment and creative problem-solving. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with precision. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Commitment to integrity, curiosity, and continuous learning.
