📋 Description

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel, agents, and customers for real estate title insurance commitments and policies • Underwrite title insurance issuance using standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits • Guide company personnel in real estate settlement services • Issue underwriting standards and guidelines according to established company processes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Law Degree required • Admitted to practice in state of employment • Licensed to practice law, in good standing • 5–7 years title underwriting experience • Familiarity with real estate law • Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement processes • General knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to real estate title insurance and settlement services • General understanding of underwriting real estate transactions for title insurance policies • Strong negotiation skills • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow up • Ability to develop creative solutions
