📋 Description

• Embed with bank architecture, infrastructure, and product teams to understand landscapes, pain points, and modernization goals • Translate business needs into technical requirements • Design future-state bank architecture • Build trusted relationships with bank engineering and architecture leadership • Translate deployment patterns, friction points, and unmet needs into product requirements and platform improvements • Develop proofs of concept and bank use cases end to end • Connect upstream and downstream systems using durable, production-grade integration patterns • Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines • Run performance tests and validate scale, resilience, and failover behavior • Support sales through technical demos, architecture workshops, and platform education • Travel to client sites as needed, expected 25–50% depending on engagement phase • Ship production software for Tier-1 financial institutions

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record shipping robust, scalable infrastructure in Go or similar systems languages (Rust, Java) • Deep experience with Kafka, concurrency patterns, event-driven architectures, and multi-region databases • Strong background in AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience with SRE principles, infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes/OpenShift • Experience building data-intensive systems and distributed data pipelines • Ability to integrate AI into workflow and stay current on LLM capabilities and agentic development patterns • 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Consultant, or Software Engineer • Knowledge of financial transaction flows, core banking systems, or banking technology preferred • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create processes where none exist • Ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes • Versatility across coding, architecture design, and technical workshops
