• Lead and build strategic sourcing category support across spend categories • Develop category strategies and plans to drive total cost of ownership savings and mitigate risk • Lead sourcing teams and cross-functional category initiatives • Develop and execute sourcing reporting and tracking mechanisms • Report on sourcing strategies and performance • Drive change management and supply/service continuity across cross-functional category teams • Define procurement requirements, SLAs/KPIs, and operational needs • Provide thought leadership and direction to Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Contract Management teams • Manage third-party risk through sourcing and contracting processes, contracts, governance, and controls • Partner with business units and senior leadership on strategic direction, supply requirements, and business objectives • Identify vendors for bidding, compare proposals to industry benchmarks, and negotiate contracts • Establish short- and long-range objectives, performance goals, and metrics for spend categories • Collaborate with Operations, Legal, TPM/SMEs, Tax, Finance, business units, and other stakeholders • Direct spend analysis to identify enterprise-wide relationship management and category-specific optimization opportunities • Lead analytical methods including TCO, commodity/service comparisons, risk profiles, quality considerations, benchmarking, and financial analytics • Assist business units with vendor problem, cause, and solution resolution • Manage special projects including OCC/Regulator audit, Internal Audit, Coupa CRA, Source-to-Pay alignment, Diversity and Inclusion reporting, and Bank M&A activity • Manage staff employment, performance evaluations, development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and compliance
• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field • 10+ years of supply chain management, contract negotiation, vendor management, and third-party management experience • Experience within a highly regulated environment for large-scale financial, banking, mortgage origination, or servicing organizations • Deep category knowledge in Technology, Banking Services, and/or Enterprise Support, including Risk, Finance, and Facilities/Corporate Real Estate • Master's Degree or postgraduate equivalent strongly preferred; JD, MBA, or MS preferred • Strong working knowledge of OCC, FFIEC, FRB, and/or other regulatory guidelines and requirements • Experience with strategic sourcing processes including market analysis, supplier identification, selection, negotiation, contracting, risk management, relationship management, financial management, performance management, and contract management • Experience with Coupa or other contract lifecycle management, sourcing, procurement, and/or ERP systems • Proficient to advanced skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to interact with bank officers, vendor account relationship managers, bank senior and executive-level individuals, and vendor principals/owners • Strong verbal and written communication, project management, analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and leadership/management skills • Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver timely results across multiple initiatives • Up to 20% travel • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including standing, sitting, walking, driving, and infrequent lifting • Must comply with applicable regulatory, compliance, federal, state, and local requirements
