📋 Description

• Manage operations of the Regional indirect business channel, including documentation preparation, documentation review, funding, and general ledger reconciliation • Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and direction to employees across business channels including Vehicle Finance, Indirect Finance, Direct Finance, and Capital Markets • Coordinate with departments, team members, and clients to ensure timely and efficient funding • Monitor daily team workload completion and inform clients of progress • Liaise between Signature Bank Group Directors and Signature Financial Executive Sales Officers regarding transaction workflow and completion • Assist the VP and Director of Operations with creating and enforcing procedures for the regional direct business channel • Recommend procedure improvements and assist junior staff with escalated issues, troubleshooting, and expertise • Guide and participate in structuring complex and large transactions according to industry practices, bank standards, and departmental procedures • Review and negotiate client-requested documentation modifications • Approve high-level funding and documentation exceptions and waivers while maintaining internal policy consistency • Perform quality control on transactions reviewed or prepared by junior documentation specialists • Calculate Executive Sales Officer Incentive Credits and report to SF Executive Management and Signature Bank finance • Make decisions using independent judgment and discretion; analyze and resolve problems • Manage employment, performance evaluations, staff development and training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and compliance requirements • Perform special projects and additional duties as required • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) • 6+ years prior banking and/or finance experience in a commercial lending environment • Prior management experience preferred • Advanced knowledge of lease and loan documentation processing • Proven knowledge of documentation complexities and risks inherent in the documentation process • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate with management and Private Client Groups throughout the Bank • Proficiency with industry-related software • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to modify documents to maintain safety and soundness • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships • Ability to identify needs and deliver tailored client solutions • Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards, and required training • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with applicable fair-chance laws
