📋 Description

• Direct financial control activities for a real estate services and facilities management Global Occupier Account • Serve as finance lead and business advisor to the Account Director • Maintain high standards of financial control and implement, review, and validate systems and internal controls • Manage the finance function and oversee the finance team • Anticipate client needs and add tangible value through financial management • Ensure proper accounting and reporting of expenses and business tax implications • Prepare global budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting • Perform forecasting, financial modeling, and expense analysis • Manage cash and oversee expense disbursements • Identify potential risks and upsides to budgets or forecasts • Maintain financial ledgers, accounting processes, and controls • Produce timely internal financial reports • Prepare monthly funding and financial reporting for the client, including currency translation and global reporting • Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet • Collaborate with the Regional Client Accounting Lead to ensure financial management conforms with Global Occupier Services standards • Participate in training programs for financial employees and participating clients • Lead staff meetings and conference calls with Group Client Accounting Managers • Identify best practices, enhance efficiencies, and improve quality • Provide direction and communication to the Global Finance organization • Meet weekly with regional finance leads to ensure clear and consistent communication

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience • Graduate work or CPA certification preferred • 10 years’ experience in real estate industry, including at least 5 years in commercial property management • 5 years supervisory or equivalent experience • Understanding of SOC1 Compliance • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills • Working experience with real estate accounting systems, preferably Yardi • Experience with internal and external audit functions • Experience as a department head including business planning, budgeting, personnel management and staff modeling • Capability to manage, coach and counsel a team of financial professionals • Ability to build effective working relationships with individuals and client representatives • Strong team player • Energetic, lateral thinker with an enquiring mind and a commercial approach • High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed • Good written and verbal communication skills • High quality report writing skills • Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of developments • Committed to achievement of assigned goals and targets • Ability to multi-task and maintain progress on multiple projects and processes
