📋 Description

• Build the annual IT operating and capital budget with leadership • Maintain rolling forecasts and model costs for initiatives, headcount changes, and contract renewals • Maintain the IT budget tracker, spend register, and supporting financial models • Reconcile commitments and departmental spend with Finance's general ledger actuals and purchase orders • Identify and resolve miscoded, duplicated, unbudgeted, or otherwise discrepant charges • Prepare purchase requisitions and ensure purchase orders are correctly coded • Review vendor invoices against contracts, purchase orders, delivered work, and rate cards • Manage purchase card and Amazon Business ghost card transactions and reconciliations • Coordinate with Procurement and Accounts Payable on payment status, disputes, and vendor setup • Maintain software subscription, support agreement, and service contract inventories • Track renewals, authorizations for expenditure, capitalizable spending, amortization, multi-year commitments, and prepaid arrangements • Produce monthly financial packages covering budget versus actuals, forecasts, commitments, and variance commentary • Prepare total cost of ownership, vendor comparison, build-versus-buy, and contract renewal analyses • Build, maintain, and document financial tracking and reporting tools • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, project owners, and IT leadership during close and budget reviews • Maintain financial controls and records for audits and Sarbanes-Oxley technology control requests • Coach team leads and project owners on budget ownership and purchasing procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting, with at least one year supporting a technology, engineering, or shared services department • Demonstrated experience reconciling departmental tracking to general ledger actuals and resolving variances • Working knowledge of purchase order and invoice lifecycle, accruals, prepaid expense, and capital versus operating expense classification • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including building and maintaining models used by others • Ability to explain financial results to non-financial audiences clearly and without jargon • Attention to detail with a record of catching errors before they reach Finance or leadership • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred • Experience with IT financial management preferred • Familiarity with technology cost attribution frameworks preferred • Experience with JD Edwards or comparable ERP procurement and accounts payable module preferred • Experience building reporting in Power BI or comparable tool preferred • Progress toward a CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred • Successful completion of a background investigation required for U.S. employment offers
