📋 Description

• Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to enhance accounting processes and technology by analyzing bottlenecks, recurring errors, and stakeholder feedback • Investigate improvement opportunities, identify root causes, and support practical, scalable solutions • Partner with accounting and other business units to implement solutions and best practices • Incorporate technology, leverage systems, and create automation where possible • Collaborate on process-related initiatives and facilitate cross-departmental communication • Lead and support project management initiatives, tracking personnel, dependencies, deliverables, timelines, and measurable efficiency gains • Report progress and escalate issues to management • Maintain documentation of new or modified processes • Lead or assist with complex technical special projects and ad hoc departmental needs • Design and build automated reconciliations in Blackline • Complete required compliance training and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Accounting required; Technology focus preferred • 6+ years of accounting experience required • 2 years of public accounting experience required • Master's Degree or postgraduate equivalent in Accounting or Finance preferred • CPA license preferred • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to master new technology quickly and effectively • Deep understanding of accounting processes, internal controls over financial reporting, and risk identification and mitigation • Pragmatic problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices • Alteryx and Blackline auto-matching system experience preferred
