📋 Description

• Support occupational health programs, including workers’ compensation, infection control, immunizations, respiratory fit testing, and the annual influenza program • Submit orders for employee drug and alcohol testing, immunizations, laboratory blood tests, and radiological exams according to occupational health policies and procedures • Assist with coordinating the annual influenza program and travel to annual influenza clinics • Conduct respiratory fit test and PAPR training for clinics • Assist with developing educational materials related to employee health programs • Perform data entry and generate reports • Assist with maintaining employee medical records • Comply with OSHA, CDC, DOH, and all regulatory agency requirements

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification preferred • BLS certification • Two years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required • Experience in customer service, reception, and data entry required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must be remote from Florida • Must comply with required background, drug, and nicotine screenings • Must receive required vaccinations, including influenza vaccine, unless an approved exemption applies • Ability to use available resources, solve problems, and exercise independent judgment • Strong interpersonal, time management, prioritization, collaboration, client-facing, and customer-service skills • Ability to work effectively and professionally in stressful situations and when opinions differ
