📋 Description

• Perform routine and non-routine pharmacy technician functions and activities • Multi-task between multiple software programs and applications • Handle multiple telecommunication lines and Microsoft programs • Accurately document information in a professional manner • Use, pronounce, and spell common medical and pharmacy terms • Maintain communication with the immediate supervisor and/or manager while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist • Do not provide patient counseling • Enter and verify pharmacy insurance data and insurance benefits • Provide exceptional service to patients, staff, insurance representatives, pharmaceutical representatives, vendors, and fellow employees • Serve as the first line of communication for inbound and outbound calls, emails, and internal pharmacy communications • Coordinate with pharmacy teams to expedite pharmacy services • Document and encourage therapy adherence under licensed pharmacist supervision • Maintain medication information, investigate prescription barriers, report order updates to clinics, and schedule orders for delivery or pickup • Process prescriptions for eligible patients and bill them to benefit plans • Resolve insurance billing issues and communicate potential delays • Support the Revenue Manager with daily financial operations and participate in the audit team • Dispense oral oncology medications under the supervision of the Dispensing Operations Pharmacist, including counting, filling, ordering, stocking, packaging, and shipping medications

🎯 Requirements

• Florida candidate residents • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in state of residence is required (FL RPT) • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy is required • Critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently with limited supervision • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness • Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and emotionally charged matters • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills • Strong customer focus • Ability to manage time, conflicting priorities, stress, and professional development • Ability to work remotely effectively as required • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and juggle competing priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) is preferred • Successful background, drug, and nicotine screening • Must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, barring an approved exemption
