Florida Wildlife Federation is a long-established statewide conservation organization that works to protect Florida’s water, wildlife, and wild spaces. Founded in 1936, it conducts advocacy, education, litigation, community engagement, volunteer programs, and fundraising to defend species (e. g. , Florida panther, manatee, scrub-jay, gopher tortoise) and habitats, promote land and water conservation, influence the Florida legislature, and mobilize supporters through events, action alerts, and stewardship initiatives.
