📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret financial data to assist management in making strategic decisions • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP • Prepare, assist with, and review monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations • Support tracking of project budgets and expenditures and provide documentation for audits and tax compliance • Collaborate with project managers and clinical staff to gather and analyze financial data for ongoing projects • Develop and recommend improvements to financial management systems and accounting procedures • Review and reconcile AP Specialist month-end entries in accordance with GAAP • Analyze, monitor, and account for invoices requiring accrual at fiscal year/month end • Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial transaction records • Participate in financial statement, financial, and compliance audits • Provide feedback on financial decisions benefiting the organization • Represent Flourish Research professionally when interacting with staff, clients, and vendors • Perform additional duties assigned by management • Work remotely, with up to 15% travel and occasional evening/weekend schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in clinical research or related healthcare setting • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong background in accounting and financial reconciliations • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficient in NetSuite and Office 365 products • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong problem solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis abilities • Demonstrated experience in process improvement • Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands • Ability to think independently and influence when appropriate • Knowledge of clinical trial reporting is a plus but not required
