📋 Description

• Research and evaluate the accounting impact of new or non-recurring significant transactions that may materially impact the Company's financial statements • Document conclusions in well-supported technical accounting memos reviewed by the Head of Financial Reporting and SOX PMO • Monitor and assess new and emerging accounting pronouncements (ASUs) and SEC guidance • Maintain the Company's accounting policies and lead implementation of significant changes • Subscribe to and leverage Big 4 accounting research tools and training • Prepare technical accounting analyses and memos across revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, EPS, debt, equity, investments, and other areas • Serve as the technical accounting reviewer/approver in the Chart of Accounts creation and maintenance process • Verify account mappings and financial statement alignments are accurate and adhere to internal standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Active CPA • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant Big 4 public accounting experience • Strong, current knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements • Ability to research technical accounting issues and prepare clear, well-supported position papers/memos • Experience with technical accounting areas including stock-based compensation, leases, revenue, debt, and business combinations • Technical accounting / national office experience • Fintech or SaaS industry experience • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle and Workiva • Advanced Excel skills
