📋 Description

• Design efficient, high-quality interface programs and create logical program code • Write clear and concise system descriptions meeting project requirements • Investigate interface-related business and system requirements for new or modified requests • Determine interface impacts and document required configuration and build changes • Evaluate business requirements and processes, provide solutions, and estimate development efforts • Communicate with team members to address application functionality, workflow requirements, and needs • Serve as point person for assigned interfaces, including analysis calls, requirements documentation, issue escalation, and interface code configuration/build changes • Coordinate or assist with interface testing and validation • Troubleshoot production and testing/validation interface issues and related applications • Run error-code frequency reports, investigate errors and failure causes, and propose or implement solutions • Develop or document interface specifications • Create HL7 field and sub-field mapping documents using Epic and other system values • Perform configuration/build changes

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of programming experience or 3 years of FMOLHS IS system experience; a Bachelor's Degree in an IT field substitutes for 2 years of programming experience • High School graduate or equivalent • Knowledge of HL7 standards and experience with interface engines
