📋 Description

• Build AI-enabled applications leveraging LangChain and LLMs for production-ready client outcomes • Lead teams through end-to-end delivery across backend services and modern web UIs • Pair program daily with teammates and clients • Practice TDD and continuous refactoring • Guide architecture decisions for scalability, observability, and performance • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders • Coach developers through pairing, mentoring, and modeling healthy engineering culture • Influence technical direction across client organizations and Focused’s internal practices • Experiment with new GenAI patterns and share learnings • Deliver software projects for clients while shaping engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on, full stack engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering software in collaborative, agile environments • Experience with LangChain or similar agentic frameworks • Understanding of how to architect AI-native systems responsibly and effectively • Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring/supporting developers • Belief in and experience with TDD and pairing • Experience across multiple languages or frameworks, such as Python, Node, Java, React, or Next.js • Experience navigating complex organizations and helping teams adopt modern development practices • Ability to communicate technical risks and wins clearly to non-technical audiences • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States • Must be able to work without employer sponsorship or takeover of employment visa sponsorship
