📋 Description

• Design and refine Ford.com experiences that help owners find vehicle information, understand features, access services, and stay connected with Ford • Translate customer problems and product requirements into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs • Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback from customers and cross-functional partners • Create prototypes to test assumptions, gather feedback, and support design decisions • Partner with Product and Engineering to balance customer value, business goals, accessibility, and technical feasibility • Use Ford’s design system and contribute to consistent, reusable patterns across Ford.com • Support design delivery and clarify design intent and implementation details with engineering partners • Identify customer needs and experience opportunities using research, feedback, analytics, and cross-functional input • Support usability testing and evaluative activities before and after launch • Assess experiences using customer feedback and performance data and identify improvement opportunities • Communicate design rationale through presentations, prototypes, and documentation • Participate in design critiques, workshops, and planning • Build relationships with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design partners • Use approved AI-enabled tools and review outputs for accuracy, accessibility, originality, brand fit, and customer usefulness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, interaction design, product design, human-computer interaction, visual design, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience • Approximately 2–4 years of experience in UX, product, interaction, or digital design, including relevant internships or project work • Portfolio demonstrating design process and contributions to digital experiences • Experience using a design and prototyping tool such as Figma • Working knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility • Ability to communicate design ideas and collaborate effectively across disciplines • Ability to translate customer needs and product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs • Familiarity with usability and accessibility principles • Ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback from customers and partners • Ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering on design feasibility and delivery • Portfolio clearly describing role and contributions to design work • Visa sponsorship is not provided • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
