📋 Description

• Serve as Foresite’s core Tanium subject matter expert and operational leader • Lead Tanium platform architecture, administration, deployment tuning, and service delivery across multi-tenant and dedicated customer environments • Lead workshops, operational reviews, and strategic technical discussions with client leadership, security teams, and IT operators • Educate client teams on Tanium workflows, query construction, and platform best practices • Translate Tanium modules into actionable operational and security outcomes • Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability Tanium server infrastructure across customer environments • Enforce RBAC policies, user roles, persona groups, and computer group boundaries • Configure bandwidth throttling, peer-to-peer distribution, and WAN/LAN rate limiting • Evaluate, test, and troubleshoot custom Tanium sensors, packages, action locks, saved queries, and scripts • Manage service performance, deployment health checks, unmanaged device discovery, and vulnerability remediation metrics • Serve as the Tier 3/4 escalation lead for complex Tanium issues and service disruptions • Build and maintain SOPs, client onboarding frameworks, and automated operational runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience administering and operating Tanium at scale across 20,000+ endpoints • Expert knowledge of Tanium Linear Chain architecture, peer-to-peer distribution, sensor mechanics, action locks, and RBAC • Deep hands-on experience with Tanium Asset, Discover, Direct Connect, Trends, Client Management, Patch, Deploy, Performance, Provision, Comply, Reveal, Threat Response, Benchmark, and Enforce • Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for custom sensor and package development • In-depth understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux internals • Knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, subnets, and proxies • Experience communicating complex technical architecture to non-technical business leaders • Experience in an MSSP, consulting, or technical account management role • Must hold active Tanium Certified Operator (TCO), Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA), Tanium Certified Cloud Specialist (TCCS), and Tanium Certified Endpoint Management Specialist (TCEMS) certifications • CISSP, CISM, GCED, or GSEC credentials are nice to have
