📋 Description

• Lead the team building and running the CMS public data website • Facilitate partner meetings and support the team when blocked • Work with technical and product leadership on project details and delivery • Identify and mitigate delivery risks and hold the team accountable to commitments • Lead delivery for a cross-functional team spanning engineering, design, user research, and support • Run agile practices including sprints, planning cycles, demos, and retrospectives with CMS stakeholders • Coordinate with CMS offices publishing data on the public portal • Share progress transparently and build relationships with partner contracting teams • Ensure compliance with contract, security, accessibility, Section 508, and ATO requirements • Report status and outcomes to CMS and For People leadership using live dashboards and automation • Lead the handoff from the current contractor without disrupting users

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in program or project management, including managing government contracts • Degree in management, public administration, information technology, or a related field • Experience with open data projects • Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15 to 25 people • Deep knowledge of agile product management principles • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GitHub • Ability to oversee task order management, reporting, sprint planning, and project planning • Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement across multiple government agency offices and data owners • Must work physically within the United States at all times • Must be a United States citizen • Must be able to pass a government-performed public trust background check
