📋 Description

• Oversee the collection and organization of financial data required for tax filings • Serve as primary contact for outside tax advisor requests and questions • Review tax returns and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns • Administer and maintain internal tax software • Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns to identify and resolve discrepancies • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary financial information • Assist in tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax liabilities • Respond to tax-related inquiries and provide support during audits • Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation • Support the Controller in tax-related projects and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience preferred • Experience with Avalara tax software preferred • Certified Public Accountant preferred • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite • Proven ability to deliver strong results and manage tight deadlines • Advanced organization and analytical skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance partners • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Committed to diversity and inclusion • Valid driver’s license • Willingness to travel up to 10%
