📋 Description

• Teach assigned courses in Radiologic Technology and Medical Terminology • Provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment • Support and evaluate students • Deliver assigned courses through online instruction • Maintain attendance records • Determine and submit grades within established University timeframes • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and productive learning environment • Support resolution of student issues related to course instruction • Provide feedback on course effectiveness • Participate in department meetings and required training • Participate in personal professional development • Perform other duties assigned by the Lead Faculty

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences, or other healthcare or science-related field • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or other health-related field for Medical Terminology course • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography (R) • Two years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline • Academic and/or professional credentials appropriate to the subject content area taught • Knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising • Commitment to collaborative and collegiate relationships • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information • Knowledge of higher education regulations, compliance, and accrediting agencies • Computer proficiency • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and members of the professional community • Excellent multi-tasking skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Comprehensive knowledge of radiologic technology • Compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements • Preferred: Master of Science, Master of Healthcare Administration, or other healthcare or related field • Preferred: Five years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology • Preferred: 1–3 years teaching in a post-secondary JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program • Preferred: Additional certifications in CT, MR, CI/VI, NM, S, VS, or M
