📋 Description

• Teach WMGT 620 Capital Planning and Asset Management in the MS in Water Utilities Management graduate program • Complete Xavier's 6-week Introduction to Online Course Design course beginning January 2027 • Build the course beginning January 2027 and launch it in August 2027 • Lead a 7-week fully online, asynchronous course • Respond to student emails in a timely manner • Host virtual calls with students • Communicate with students throughout coursework • Interact with students in discussion boards and on assignments • Grade assignments in a timely manner • Integrate utility finance, rate setting, and operational fundamentals into long-term capital planning and asset management decisions • Guide students in evaluating infrastructure condition, risk, and lifecycle costs to prioritize investments and develop capital improvement plans • Align capital planning with financial capacity, rate impacts, regulatory requirements, and service level goals

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree or beyond in the discipline in which the instructor is teaching • Exceptional tested experience validated through publication or public recognition • Examples of tested experience may include 5 years of experience in the given subject matter plus professional publications, recognition of achievement, professional credentials, or other significant contributions relevant to the graduate coursework • Dedication to graduate teaching and demonstrated excellence in the relevant field • Cover letter, curriculum vitae/resume, Teaching Statement, and names and contact information of three professional references • Teaching Statement focused on the candidate's vision for teaching the course at Xavier University
