📋 Description
• lead the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of IBM i applications • architect solutions for clients • consult & collaborate with clients to resolve application issues • analyze, design, code, and test software applications • ensure program and application integrity through various testing phases • translate system architecture into documentation for stakeholders • lead a small technical team when required • support clients in modernizing legacy business applications
🎯 Requirements
• 20+ years of proven experience with the IBM i (iSeries/AS/400) platform • Mastery of various forms of RPG (especially RPGLE, including Free-form syntax and embedded SQL) • Expert-level DB2 application programming and database design • Deep understanding of ILE concepts (Modules, Service Programs, Binding Directories) • Experience navigating structured deployment and version control processes • Capable of verbal and written communication with various levels of client personnel
