📋 Description

• Build the first version of the product end-to-end, from initial architecture decisions through shipping to real customers • Talk directly with customers using the product and help set technical direction and roadmap alongside the founding CEO • Establish technical foundations, tooling, and engineering practices for future team growth • Work across product, sales, customer service, and other company functions as needed • Define engineering practices and culture as the team scales

🎯 Requirements

• Strong generalist engineering experience • Experience building and shipping real products • Ideally, experience as an early engineering hire (employee #1–10) at a startup or in another 0-to-1 capacity • Ability to move fluidly across the stack and learn quickly • Ability to execute ruthlessly in fast-paced, ambiguous environments • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working closely with customers • Ownership mindset and scrappy approach to work • Ability to make quick, thoughtful technical decisions balancing short-term speed with long-term health • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar • Alignment with the company’s “smart, nice, and get things done” hiring motto
