📋 Description

• Manage and/or lead engineering teams executing EHV transmission line projects • Lead and manage engineering teams delivering EHV transmission line designs for electric utilities, COOPs, and developers • Provide expert-level technical support for 500kV and 765kV transmission line designs • Coordinate with internal and external departments throughout the project life cycle • Execute engineering projects and develop technical design deliverables • Supervise and direct project teams • Mentor and coach team members • Maintain relationships with client functional leads and stakeholders • Ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget • Communicate and consult with stakeholders and supervisors • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements • Independently review engineering designs, calculations, and drawings • Prepare clear, concise project reports • Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results

🎯 Requirements

• No U.S. work authorization sponsorship • BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or a management/business degree • 10+ years of specific experience in project management of utility transmission projects • 5+ years of experience in 500kV and/or 765kV transmission line design • Expertise in electrical considerations for 765kV transmission lines • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams • Knowledge of NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI engineering standards • Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting • Willingness to travel to project sites and/or attend client meetings • MS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program (valued but not required) • PE license (valued but not required) • PLS-CADD and PLS-TOWER software experience (valued but not required) • PMP certification (valued but not required)
