📋 Description

• Handle the adjusting of the entire claim without the involvement of a Desk Adjuster, including collecting and reviewing loss facts, analyzing insurance policy terms, making coverage recommendations, and issuing payments within authority • Contact insureds to schedule and conduct timely damaged-property inspections • Photograph, sketch, and scope all damages, including non-damaged areas • Compose claims correspondence and keep insureds informed throughout the investigation • Determine the method and extent of investigation for each claim • Assign outside experts or investigators when appropriate • Review and analyze investigative and claim materials to determine loss facts • Interview insureds and witnesses • Document all investigative actions in claim files • Analyze policies to determine coverage and evaluate coverage recommendations • Determine total claim value • Request and disburse claim checks/payments within authority; recommend payments above authority level • Respond to questions in a timely manner • Use several software programs to determine loss parameters • When assisting a Desk Adjuster, communicate issues and expert needs, submit reserve recommendations within 48 hours of inspection, email reports/estimates to the home office, and assist with pricing or technical issues

🎯 Requirements

• Attention to detail • Ability to multi-task • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Proficient with Xactimate 25 or newer • Effective oral, written, organizational, and analytical skills • Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively under stress • Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with insureds and within the system • Maintain Florida 520 License • Strong computer and data entry skills • Maintain company image with clean apparel (shirt, badge) and vehicle functions
