• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for stamping, roll-forming, and structural steel • Lead RFQ/RFP events and negotiate contracts for pricing, lead times, capacity commitments, and payment terms • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with corporate objectives • Partner with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability • Monitor steel market trends, raw material pricing, and geopolitical risks • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field • 5–7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain, with a focus on steel, metals, or heavy structural components • Deep knowledge of steel coils and fabrication, specifically stamping and structural components • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite • Proven track record of successful negotiation and managing high-value contracts • Strong skills in cost modeling, benchmarking, and data analysis
