📋 Description

• Perform scheduled/preventative maintenance on imaging systems within the assigned service area • Perform unscheduled maintenance with technical support assistance • Install and de-install products and peripheral equipment • Maintain effective relationships and communications with field personnel, home office personnel, management, and customers • Escalate technical issues and customer concerns through the appropriate process • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve customer service delivery issues • Complete administrative duties including expense reports, timecards, work orders, service appointments, start times, parts inventory, training, and QA/RA work • Maintain customer service orders and internal service records according to company policies • Communicate daily with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up • Maintain tools, test equipment, and spare parts; return parts within required timeframes • Promote the company's image and reputation • Comply with applicable FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory requirements • Perform other duties assigned by the Area Service Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science discipline, or equivalent experience • Minimum one year of previous field service experience • Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and effective maintenance • Active listening skills and above average customer service skills • Sound organization and administrative skills; self-starter with ability to maintain paperwork to FDA and company required standards • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to explain technical issues clearly • Ability to operate related test equipment, including oscilloscopes, meters, and diagnostic testers • Valid driver's license and safe driving record • Good interpersonal skills • Reliable and able to work independently • Professional image • Ability to work odd hours and occasional overtime • Ability to travel as required, including up to 100% travel with possible overnight and air travel • Ability to work in medical/clinical environments, including construction sites and high magnetic fields up to 3 Tesla • Ability to comply with vendor credentialing, U.S. FDA medical device regulations, ISO 13485, and applicable laws and standards
