📋 Description

• Conduct service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites • Perform electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts • Diagnose system failures and determine cost-effective solutions • Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support or quality reporting systems • Respond to customer support calls within the Western Region • Provide technical support and field service for In-Situ Process Sensors and Analyzers, including In-Situ, ChemScan, and Partech products • Perform on-site installation, calibration, and training for process sensors and online water analysis instrumentation • Assist customers through remote and on-site service and replacement parts • Coordinate with site owners and contractors for successful equipment installation • Manage regional customer relationships • Assist the Regional Sales Manager with technical support and pilot/demo projects • Attend regular product and application training at an In-Situ Process facility • Maintain accurate field service kit inventory • Write detailed service reports covering troubleshooting, parts used, and analyzer data • Review unmet customer needs, promote service offerings, and support lead generation and service job closure

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred • 2 years experience in Troubleshooting & Diagnostics • Mechanical knowledge • Strong technical background with good mechanical and electrical skills • Completed a chemistry course with basic understanding • Experience with industrial instrumentation including basic knowledge of PLC equipment communication • Good communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time to customer sites • Ability to travel with and lift/carry a field service supply kit weighing 50–65 pounds • Ability to complete tasks in noisy environments • Ability to work in adverse conditions including inclement weather and extreme temperatures • Intermediate physical activity involving lifting, bending, squatting, walking, and stairs
