📋 Description

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies and procedures to protect company assets, employees, facilities and information • Assess tools, software and systems • Assess risks and vulnerabilities, investigate security breaches and implement corrective measures • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and projects • Conduct regular security assessments, audits and inspections • Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures • Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment and other security technologies • Coordinate with internal departments, including human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards • Lead, identify and train designated associates across a shared services environment serving 20+ group companies • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, security vendors and other external stakeholders • Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures • Monitor security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and recommend program enhancements • Document incident findings and implement corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice or a related field • 10+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces • Strong understanding of security principles and practices • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software, access control systems and CCTV surveillance • Ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs • Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety • Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale • Excellent leadership and management skills • Attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate security risks • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity • Travel required 25% • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Professional (CPP) and Certified Security Manager (CSM) are desired • Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management is desired • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices is desired • Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management is desired
