Full Sail University User Experience Lab is a specialized facility within the Full Sail Game Design Masters program, focusing on user experience in game design and other related fields. It engages in projects for various organizations in information technology, media, and video games, providing students with hands-on experience in areas such as game design, project management, programming, and usability. Students who intern at the lab develop a diverse skill set over a five-month program, preparing them for the demands of the games industry.

📋 Description

• Establish and cultivate relationships on behalf of Full Sail University • Facilitate onsite and virtual student recruitment workshops • Deliver brand-level marketing presentations • Participate in regional community events • Provide support services to the education community • Conduct 15–20 onsite and virtual high school and community college recruitment activities per month • Attend regional college fairs, career nights, STEM/STEAM events, marketing events, community events, and prospective student and alumni activities • Explain Full Sail University educational programs, expected outcomes, and student services to prospective students • Partner with the Full Sail on Tour team to maximize regional tour events • Support regional recruitment efforts with Military Outreach and International Business Development teams • Assist with additional outreach-based initiatives • Maintain knowledge of Full Sail University and school network educational offerings • Document communications in the Salesforce CRM • Confirm regional recruiting activities at least two days before events • Enter prospective student inquiries into the CRM after recruiting activities • Communicate with the direct supervisor and collaborate with regional staff, campus personnel, leadership, and global outreach captains • Provide coverage for on-campus outreach and touring events as needed • Complete weekly expense reports • Apply best practices to ensure a consistent brand experience

🎯 Requirements

• Must live in the greater Houston, Texas area • Ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, extended hours, and overnight travel • Reliable transportation, valid driver license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel • Genuine passion for people, higher education, and the entertainment media industry • Self-motivated, able to exercise independent judgment, and use discretion with matters of significance • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Bachelor’s degree required • 1–3 years of college admissions, marketing, education, and/or regional outreach experience • Strong understanding of the college admissions process and educational models for primary and secondary education, including STEM or CDE • Must become a licensed agent for Full Sail University in the state of Florida, with additional states as needed • Must successfully complete continuing education/training requirements • Background check mandatory • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, iLife, iWork, various web tools, and Salesforce CRM enterprise software • Proficient with Apple- and Windows-based hardware • Proficient with audio/video equipment
