⢠Administer all U.S. and Canadian employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, retirement savings, life insurance, disability, AD&D, critical illness, accident, and other voluntary benefits ⢠Process enrollments, life events, terminations, and eligibility changes accurately and promptly ⢠Audit benefit transactions across Workday, payroll, carriers, and third-party vendors ⢠Resolve enrollment discrepancies and eligibility issues ⢠Support annual open enrollment planning, testing, execution, communications, and reconciliation ⢠Coordinate new benefit program and plan change implementations ⢠Serve as the primary contact for employee and manager questions about benefits and leave programs ⢠Research and resolve complex benefit issues with vendors, carriers, payroll, and internal stakeholders ⢠Develop and maintain benefits knowledge articles, FAQs, and employee resources ⢠Coordinate U.S. leave administration and administer Canadian statutory leave programs ⢠Manage leave workflows, return-to-work activities, leave timelines, status changes, and supplemental pay calculations ⢠Coordinate disability administration and employee communications throughout the leave lifecycle ⢠Support benefits processes, eligibility rules, event processing, security, system testing, audits, and data integrity ⢠Partner with HRIS and Payroll to troubleshoot system issues and improve processes ⢠Assist with vendor implementations, renewals, operational transitions, carrier file testing, and eligibility file management ⢠Coordinate workers' compensation administration, claims tracking, reporting, payroll impacts, and return-to-work activities ⢠Support benefits reporting, audits, annual compliance activities, plan documentation, notices, and employee communications ⢠Identify process improvement and automation opportunities ⢠Develop operational metrics and analyze trends in employee inquiries, leave utilization, and performance ⢠Participate in benefits projects and cross-functional initiatives
⢠Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field ⢠3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with experience in benefits or people operations ⢠Experience administering benefits in both the United States and Canada ⢠HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHRP, CHRL) is preferred ⢠Experience administering HRIS platforms, preferably Workday ⢠Strong understanding of health and welfare benefit administration ⢠Knowledge of retirement plan administration ⢠Familiarity with leave of absence and disability administration ⢠Understanding of benefits compliance requirements in the U.S. and Canada ⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities ⢠Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy ⢠Ability to reconcile data across multiple systems and vendors ⢠Ability to manage multiple systems and vendor platforms ⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills ⢠Strong organizational and documentation skills ⢠High degree of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
