📋 Description

• Build and standardize Function Health's revenue accounting processes and supporting systems without performing the close • Support the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager in shaping the accounting initiative roadmap • Surface process gaps, risks, and opportunities and own the scoping and prioritization of assigned workstreams • Design and standardize accounting processes and controls across revenue streams • Manage revenue accounting initiatives end to end, including requirements, sequencing, stakeholder tracking, and delivery • Connect Accounting with Data/Engineering, Finance, and Product teams • Translate accounting treatment and technical judgment into system requirements and configuration logic • Investigate data quality and process breakdowns using underlying datasets and address root causes • Build documentation, mapping logic, and handoff materials for auditable procedures • Prepare documentation and data support for external audit and advisory partners

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience spanning accounting and either project management, business/systems analysis, or accounting operations • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Solid understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition, including subscription or service-based revenue models • Demonstrated project management skills • Experience designing or standardizing operational processes and controls • Strong data skills using Excel, SQL, or similar tools • Experience working cross-functionally with data, engineering, product, or finance teams • Ability to translate accounting requirements into technical or operational execution • Clear, precise written and verbal communication skills • Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred • Experience scoping, configuring, and testing ERP or revenue recognition implementations such as NetSuite, Rillet, or Zuora is nice to have • CPA certification or equivalent is nice to have • Experience with subscription-based, membership, or consumer health/tech business models is nice to have • Experience using AI or automation tools in accounting or process-improvement workflows is nice to have
