📋 Description

• Set the technical direction and own architecture for Salesforce delivery projects • Design automation, integration patterns, and custom extensions for Fundingo • Select appropriate Salesforce tools, including Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components, and configuration • Design reliable integrations with payment processors, accounting systems, and document providers • Own Git-based development workflows, branching, pull requests, merge rules, and deployment practices • Enforce coding standards, naming conventions, and design patterns • Review pull requests for correctness, security, performance, test quality, and architectural fit • Assign and sequence developer tasks, pair with developers, unblock them, and guide design and debugging • Collaborate with Implementation Specialists and Business Analysts to scope customer requirements and support project estimation and planning • Mentor Salesforce developers and administrators through reviews, pairing, best-practice guidance, and knowledge sharing • Lead technical discovery and design sessions with customers • Serve as technical point of contact for customer IT teams and outside vendors • Support sales conversations and internal strategy discussions • Build scalable implementations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce tools • Plan and oversee data migrations, including mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover • Lead troubleshooting of production issues using debug logs and customer reports • Support go-live readiness, deployment plans, release coordination, and post-launch documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of hands-on Salesforce development with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components • 2 or more years leading the technical work of other developers on a project team, including assigning and reviewing their work and guiding design decisions • Experience leading the technical side of customer-facing Salesforce projects, from discovery and design through go-live • Track record of making and defending architecture decisions on Salesforce projects using established patterns, such as trigger frameworks and service, selector, and domain layers • Strong command of Salesforce DX, source-tracked development, and sandbox strategy • Expert knowledge of Git, including branching and pull request workflows • Extensive code review experience and a clear point of view on code quality, standards, and testing • Mastery of governor limits, bulkification, and performance tuning • Excellent communication skills with engineers, project managers, executives, prospective clients, and non-technical business users • Experience mentoring developers and raising the skill level of a team • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification preferred • REST API integration experience between Salesforce and financial services systems preferred • Experience with large data migrations into Salesforce preferred • Background in lending, loan servicing, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred • Consulting or professional services experience preferred • Experience supporting sales or pre-sales conversations as the technical expert preferred • Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code preferred • Familiarity with Experience Cloud, Flows, and Platform Events • Active participation in the Salesforce developer community • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
