📋 Description

• Lead the strategic direction and operational execution of technology infrastructure, data systems, and enterprise applications • Own core technology infrastructure built on .NET, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM • Lead architecture and platform decisions with the Manager of Software Development • Oversee data governance, integrity, and systems strategy with the Senior Manager of Data Systems • Evaluate vendor versus build/buy tradeoffs and make budget recommendations • Ensure IT operations support day-to-day organizational technology needs • Translate business and operational needs into technical solutions, budgets, and implementation plans • Establish delivery processes for intake, prioritization, release management, and budget chargeback • Oversee technical execution of instructional design, curriculum management, and learner-facing tools • Monitor system performance and resolve escalated technical issues • Prepare staff for crisis scenario response and mitigation • Directly manage and develop the IT Operations Manager, Senior Manager of Data Systems, and Manager of Software Development • Build team capacity, set performance expectations, cultivate a healthy culture, and support career growth • Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, business continuity, documentation, and cross-training • Advise senior leadership on technology and data strategy • Represent technology and infrastructure priorities in organizational planning and budgeting • Oversee and partner with external vendors and consultants

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technology leadership • 2+ years managing high-performing teams across infrastructure, engineering, and data sub-functions • Experience overseeing enterprise application architecture, including .NET, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server • Experience holding technical teams accountable for delivery • Experience overseeing or partnering closely with CRM platforms; Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience preferred • Ability to lead teams or functions outside one's core expertise • Strong judgment in setting direction and building trust with subject-matter experts • Ability to translate ambiguous organizational needs into structured technical solutions, budgets, and project plans • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Applicants must be authorized to work within the United States • Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa • Ability to fulfill twice-yearly travel requirement • Preferred: experience in education technology, workforce development, healthcare, or nonprofit sectors • Preferred: experience with data governance and reporting/analytics platforms • Preferred: prior experience building or maturing a technology function • Preferred: Master's degree or equivalent experience • Relevant certifications such as CSPO, Pragmatic Institute product certification, PMP, or ITIL Foundation
