⢠Lead, manage, and expand a division within the Power Delivery Engineering sector ⢠Drive sales and marketing efforts across Transmission, Substation, Distribution, Structural engineering, and Project Management ⢠Manage P&L, chargeable ratio targets, overhead budgets, profitability, and productivity goals ⢠Develop and implement the annual Business Sector plan ⢠Gather information from direct reports and monitor and report progress quarterly ⢠Support corporate mission, strategies, policies, procedures, and code of conduct ⢠Foster communication and collaboration across the organization ⢠Communicate with corporate management regarding issues, personnel, workloads, marketing leads, and ideas ⢠Collaborate with Business Sector Leaders, Operations, and Corporate Services to deliver profitable, safe, sustainable projects and services ⢠Participate in company policy creation and long-range goal development ⢠Manage and grow a team supporting new business initiatives ⢠Lead workforce planning, hiring priorities, process improvement, quality management, standardization, cross-office coordination, capacity balancing, and mentoring project managers ⢠Drive portfolio strategy and execution ⢠Maintain P&L accountability, revenue forecasting, backlog management, resource planning, financial performance, risk mitigation, client satisfaction, portfolio reporting, and KPI management ⢠Lead corrective actions and decision-making for performance challenges ⢠Develop new client relationships and expand existing clients in energy sectors ⢠Lead major pursuits and contract negotiations ⢠Identify key account opportunities and proposal strategy ⢠Grow existing accounts and coordinate marketing and business development activities ⢠Represent the company externally ⢠Provide strategic technical leadership across projects, pursuits, and business initiatives ⢠Conduct technical oversight and executive QA/QC reviews ⢠Support complex technical decisions and mentor senior engineers ⢠Advance technical best practices and maintain industry awareness ⢠Oversee multiple large or multidisciplinary project teams and develop risk mitigation plans
⢠20+ years of experience ⢠B.S. Engineering or other technical degree, Master's Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred ⢠Bachelors or better in Engineering ⢠Driver's License required ⢠Strong understanding of Transmission, Substation, and/or Distribution markets ⢠Ability to manage projects and technical staff across various disciplines ⢠Ability to generate work across regions, new markets or territories, and clients ⢠Strong verbal and written communication skills ⢠Ability to collaborate with and garner support from key stakeholders and staff ⢠Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical reports, procedures, and governmental regulations ⢠Ability to write reports and business correspondence ⢠Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public ⢠Ability to perform field visits, walk uneven terrain and long distances, climb stairs up to 12 floors and ladders, work at high elevations, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds ⢠Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
