📋 Description

• Optimize the availability, performance and security of cloud infrastructure • Build internal libraries and DevOps guidelines to help Engineering squads own and maintain their infrastructure • Craft and optimize public APIs for technical customers • Design and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms for internal teams and external customers • Research and develop technical solutions and best practices that improve development, release and maintenance experiences • Work on a product heavily used every day by loyal customers • Collaborate with all development squads • Contribute to a team involved in all aspects of the gaiia product • Develop serverless microservices deployed on AWS using TypeScript across frontend, backend and infrastructure-as-code • Work on projects such as AWS CDK migrations, public API tooling, GraphQL rate limiting and idempotency, authentication and authorization libraries, API-key management, and canary deployments using AWS CDK and CodeDeploy

🎯 Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience in the Javascript web ecosystem (Typescript is a big advantage) • At least five (5) years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining high-availability systems in the cloud • Ability to deal with uncertainty and bring order to fuzzy challenges • Outgoing and collaborative personality, eager to work with different stakeholders to solve complex problems • Strong product mindset • Experience with public API design (GraphQL is a big advantage) • Experience with GraphQL (nice-to-have) • Experience with data warehouses and ETL pipelines (nice-to-have) • Several personal projects exhibiting good coding skills (nice-to-have) • Strong analytical thinking, proactivity and learning speed (nice-to-have)
