📋 Description

• Lead and align the Project Management team • Create and implement complex project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for large or multiple high-complexity projects • Ensure alignment with release milestones, environment readiness and architectural dependencies • Assess project scope changes and impacts, collaborating with technical architects on system design, integrations and downstream environments • Obtain stakeholder concurrence, approval and consensus and adjust project aspects accordingly • Identify resources and staff projects • Organize project teams to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, objectives, release timelines and technical dependencies • Serve as point of contact with client project management • Identify staffing changes or needs as projects progress • Communicate with clients, company leadership and project teams; measure and share project metrics and status • Recommend program changes as needed • Manage costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project deliverables • Ensure schedules and budgets are met • Oversee project status reviews and identify risks related to release readiness, architecture and infrastructure dependencies • Develop and implement risk mitigation solutions and processes with cross-functional team leads • Anticipate and manage project changes while maintaining alignment with architectural standards and approved technical designs • Gather and evaluate possible solutions with technical architects for feasibility and scalability • Participate in proposal efforts and sales calls, partnering with architects on technically viable solutions • Manage a small team of Project Managers as their people leader

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of experience managing complex projects, programs or initiatives through a full project management life cycle • 3 or more years of Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred • Expertise with project management methodology such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) • Process and governance expertise supporting project methodology execution • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, including release cycles • Standardization and compliance knowledge with configuration and change control awareness • Understanding of budget development, control and assurance methods • Experience with project management software • Ability to translate broader program objectives into clear project scope and milestones • Leadership skills for coaching, mentoring and training staff and guiding junior colleagues • Strong executive presentation and clear communication skills • Ability to influence and motivate direct and indirect networks and stakeholders • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation • Must be located within the United States for this remote-based opportunity
