📋 Description

• Manage development, documentation, and presentation of information system security education, awareness, and training activities. • Oversee identification and documentation of local information-system threats and vulnerabilities. • Coordinate the facility information system security program with other facility security programs. • Oversee periodic self-inspections and corrective actions for findings and vulnerabilities. • Manage procedures for marking, handling, controlling, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying media and equipment containing classified information. • Manage reports and follow-up of information system security incidents. • Oversee implementation of authentication and security-relevant vendor features. • Oversee implementation of protections against malicious code, viruses, and intruders. • Develop and implement specific and remote maintenance procedures based on CSA requirements. • Oversee employee selection, hiring, training, evaluation, performance issues, and personnel recommendations. • Motivate and reward employees, including salary increases, bonuses, and promotions within budgets and company guidelines. • Prepare and recommend operating and personnel budgets and monitor spending.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Master's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred • Twelve or more years of experience in computer science, management information systems, systems analysis, or data security • Eight or more years of leadership or supervisory experience • CISSP certification preferred • Experience with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware • Experience with operating systems • Experience with security architecture • Strong organizational skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment
