📋 Description

• Meet quantity benchmark of 100% and quality benchmark of 90%, evaluated through audits • Maintain a denial and rejection rate of less than 10% • Verify patient benefits and obtain required authorizations • Manage assigned schedule, including verification of insurance authorization requirements, benefits, and patient demographics at the designated days-out timeframe • Monitor effectiveness through Visiquate and Waystar systems

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required • Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required • 1 year of related experience, or any combination of education or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job • Experience in a healthcare environment or a healthcare claims environment is a strong plus • Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in insurance financial clearance, medical collections and billing (CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS) • Previous Experience with OH Insurance Payers and obtaining prior authorizations • Able to give patient benefit information regarding surgical GI procedures • Able to determine if an insurance policy requires an insurance referral • Previous experience with remote work
