📋 Description

• Arrange and book travel on behalf of staff • Ensure travel is arranged efficiently and effectively • Assist with Athletics/Group travel requests and maintain the group system • Communicate final travel itineraries to requestors • Implement cost-saving measures through travel-provider negotiation and economical routing • Create, maintain, and update hard-copy trip files, including annual audit preparation • Enter staff-provided information into and maintain the travel database • Coordinate with the designated travel agency to provide trip itineraries • Coordinate with Finance to invoice travelers for personal travel costs and follow up on invoices • Arrange hotel meeting space and other arrangements for GCU field staff • Monitor and ensure compliance with Travel Policy and Procedures • Update travel-section website content • Complete other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Working with Athletic departments highly desirable • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred • Minimum of three years of experience booking airline travel in an agency or corporate environment • Experience booking full-service reservations, hotel, air and car • Minimum of two years of experience utilizing GDS software; Apollo preferred • Employment contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment screening, including a background check
