📋 Description

• Analyze product design changes to determine effects on end product design and function • Prepare documentation required for product design changes • Coordinate with customers and manufacturers to establish change-reporting processes • Review released engineering change data and documentation activities for compliance with configuration management procedures and policies • Collect and maintain blueprints, specifications, schematics, and other technical documentation • Ensure documents are retained and destroyed according to internal policies and regulatory requirements • Implement document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction processes • Utilize electronic document/record management systems as needed • Develop written materials supporting product development, including operations, maintenance, and repair manuals, tutorials, specifications, and help systems • Interview technical staff to collect product information and specifications • Organize technical information and product images and coordinate publication layout • Adhere to terminology, style, and editorial quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Oral and written communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines • Problem-solving skills • Computer skills • Planning skills • Leadership skills • Ability to remain stationary at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time • Ability to read contracts and understand documentation requirements
