📋 Description

• Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a FinOps Analyst, supporting CMS Cloud Product Tools • Work with assigned customers on leveraging optimization strategies and tactics for more efficient workloads and lower spend • Be the billing expert and train customers on understanding Cloud usage and patterns • Provide financial operations training and drive user experience improvements • Support the CMS Hybrid Cloud team in delivering communicative and financial reports • Assist coworkers with collecting and reviewing financial data from various Cloud sources • Create, maintain, and update financial deliverables via JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel or other financial dashboards • Analyze customer cloud requirements and provide technical knowledge on cloud computing techniques and technologies of low-moderate complexity • Research, evaluate, and deploy cloud computing optimization techniques • Assist in managing various master payer accounts with 100+ linked accounts

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline • FinOps Experience required • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud (OCI), or GCP Cost analysis using deep understanding of Cost usage reports • Effective communication skills both orally and written • Effective organizational skills • 2+ years experience preferred; FinOps Practitioner Certification preferred; hands on keyboard capabilities to drive analysis and recommendations • Understanding of Cloud Technologies • Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel • Analytic/queries understanding for cloud billing
