📋 Description

• Develop detailed manual test cases from user stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications • Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and cloud-based CMM applications • Validate UI, workflows, and data integrity across integrated modules • Identify, document, and prioritize defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools • Log bugs clearly and accurately and collaborate with developers to resolve issues • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Analyze functional documents to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs • Verify Section 508 accessibility compliance and assist with FedRAMP or NIST control adherence • Support the QA and Compliance Lead with test documentation, metrics tracking, and readiness reporting • Perform smoke and sanity testing during deployment cycles to confirm release readiness • Collaborate with Automation and Performance Testers to align manual validation with automated regression scope • Assist in user acceptance testing and verify software readiness before deployment • Maintain comprehensive test evidence and contribute to audit readiness documentation • Support the CMM Program and mission-critical government projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline • 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or validation roles • API Testing, Automated Testing, and Automated Test Scripts • Strong experience developing automated test scripts on ReactJS and NodeJS with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, and Chai • Expertise designing and executing manual test cases in Agile or SAFe environments • Experience defining test strategies for cloud-based greenfield application development initiatives • Working knowledge of Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr • Ability to validate front-end React and NodeJS API functionality in distributed environments • Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and UI inspection • Experience working in federal software modernization or cloud-native environments • Experience testing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift • Understanding of API testing concepts using Postman or ReadyAPI • Exposure to test automation frameworks and scripting logic • Experience managing and executing tests using NUnit and TestNG • Knowledge of performance testing and load validation processes • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, and Section 508 compliance testing • Understanding of testing processes at unit and system testing levels • Experience developing test plans/procedures, expected outcomes, and verification statements • Comprehensive understanding of Agile and DevOps methodology and culture • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Consultant mindset and ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders • Experience identifying and applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a position of Public Trust • Must be a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen • Must be able to provide on-call support and/or follow a flexible work schedule as needed • Less than 10% travel required
