📋 Description

• Develop detailed manual test cases from user stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications • Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and cloud-based CMM applications • Validate user interface, workflow, and data integrity across integrated modules • Identify, document, and prioritize defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools • Log bugs clearly and accurately and collaborate with developers to resolve issues • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Analyze functional documents to align test coverage with business needs • Verify Section 508 accessibility compliance and assist with FedRAMP or NIST control adherence • Support the QA and Compliance Lead with test documentation, metrics tracking, and readiness reporting • Perform smoke and sanity testing during deployment cycles • Collaborate with Automation and Performance Testers to align manual validation and automated regression coverage • Assist with user acceptance testing and verify software readiness before deployment • Maintain comprehensive test evidence and contribute to audit readiness documentation • Support the Case Management Modernization Program for the Administrative Office of the US Courts, modernizing cloud-based case management software for federal courts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline • 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or validation roles • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a position of Public Trust with the Administrative Office of the US Courts • Must be a US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen) • Strong experience developing automated test scripts on ReactJS and NodeJS, with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, Chai, et al. • Expertise designing and executing manual test cases in Agile or SAFe environments • Experience defining test strategies for cloud-based greenfield application development initiatives • Working knowledge of Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr • Ability to validate React front-end and NodeJS API functionality in distributed environments • Familiarity with browser developer tools • Experience in federal software modernization or cloud-native environments • Experience testing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift • Understanding of API testing concepts using Postman or ReadyAPI • Experience managing and executing tests using NUnit and TestNG • Knowledge of performance testing and load validation processes • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, and Section 508 compliance testing • Experience with testing processes at unit and system testing levels • Experience developing test plans/procedures, expected outcomes, and verification statements • Comprehensive understanding of Agile and DevOps methodology and culture • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders and build customer relationships • Experience identifying and applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
